Strongly recommended! My parents went to this resort and they fell in LOVE with this beautiful place. This resort is situated almost inside the corbett jungle, whereas others (luxury resorts) are located far from the national park. The resort is very hygienic, very well maintained, food is delicious, the staff is very well behaved, and most importantly, the resort is walking distance from a river.. perfect to take an evening stroll and experience nature.
This place is a heaven for wild life enthusiast. The owner being a wild life lover, more than just a businessman, will guide you to the most amazing places. Residential facility designed in such a beautiful manner, no big name in Corbett area can mach. Sitting around a bonfire with the owner and sipping coffee or soup, listening to the most amazing tiger thrills will give you goosebumps. It's a Final Destination in Corbett...Every time, unless it's all occupied.
Excellent place to be at, I would rate this place 7star. Its a beautiful place for families, couples and corporates a lot space at the front you can sit and relax the kitchen is nice and neat people are so welcoming and friendly. Awesome experience! Situated in a remote place of Ramnagar approx 22 km distance. Property built in a Kosi river flooded bank. One can go near by river. River stream is clearly audible. Rooms are built in cottage model. Total 6 cottages are their. Very wide area. One can roam & enjoy natural feel their. Bon fire in night is awesome. Its kind of jungle resort away from city crowded area. Very peaceful & relaxing place. Price is bit higher side. Food is delicious but has limited menu. Buffet is their (vegNveg). Rooms are made up of wood. Ac, led tv, geyser, electric kettle facility available. Owner of property is very humble & kind. He himself is wildlife enthusiast. That may be the reason why that wildlife oriented property is built. Dislikes - Location. You have to call them & they will assist you approaching their. Overall great stay I recommend!
The best place for nature lovers. Just sit outside in the garden and enjoy the chirping of birds in the morning or go for a walk along the river kosi. Food is good and so is the service. Had a wonderful stay. We requested the owner for trekking and he arranged for a very exciting and historical trek of 7 km along the very path Jim Corbett took while hunting the man-eater of mohan.
Camp Riverwild was my random pick for a weekend stay when i was looking peace in the green lush vicinity of Corbett surrounded with mountain and the river bed of beautiful Kosi. Mr. Ansari who is the owner for this property is a source of knowledge to wildlife is such a great personality who made my trip memorable. The matchan cottage stay is full of luxury with all modern facilities at this place. Food of the restaurant was awesome with handful variety in buffet. The entire staff is soft spoken and supportive. I highly recommend this destination if someone is looking for peace in the lap of nature.
