The locksmiths at Big Red Locksmiths were very friendly. They rekeyed our locks within minutes and were very helpful in answering our questions. They had an assortment of keys to include older keys that require fitting a post to try and unlock an old desk that we lost the key to. Would highly recommend using them and we will certainly use them again.
Cloned key inexpensive and fast. Walked in with a 5 and 5 minutes later I had my copy and some change.
Damaged my door and door handle, when I called about it they denied doing it and wanted to argue with me about. The locksmith that did the job did return to inspect the door and door handle which he did repair and made it right with me. He also apologized about what happened. The owner also called me to follow up to ensure that I was i was satisfied with situation which I did also appreciated.
I called from Texas and spoke to James. He was able to go to help my sister out on a Saturday and make her 4 new keys within 90 minutes for a very reasonable fee.. It was great to find someone on a Saturday afternoon! James if you ever get tired of Nebraska you would fit in down here in Texas! Thanks!
I realize that problems can occur during the course of a business transaction so, I judge a company by the way they handle problems. I called Big Red to make them aware of a problem with their work and, it became immediately clear that their goal was not customer service. Their goal was to shift blame for the problem to me. Big Red re-keyed my locks and left my deadbolt in an unusable condition. The lock worked fine before their work. If I want the lock to work now, they require a 50 service charge to repair their poor workmanship! Watch a YouTube video and change the locks yourself. You’ll do a better job.
Jared was right on time and after looking the situation over, he had my locked door open in just a few minutes. He explained and showed me what exactly the problem was and fixed it so I wouldn't be locked in or out again. Thank you so much, Jared, and Big Red Locksmiths! You made my day!
