I have sent my D-type (kit car) overseas to RPS after only briefly speaking to Simon on the phone, took a risk because I did not know the company. Boy am I happy I sent it to them. I am very impressed by the knowledge base, Ben and Brooke have taken on the project and this is what I got. Very detailed information and pictures every week of the progress which made it much easier making decisions from overseas. Very very fast progress even through the Covid-19 delays from suppliers ect. Instead of shying away from a kit car where all the parts used were not clearly marked, they took it as a mystery and were pushed to crack the code. As for the quality of work they went through everything the car needs and were very clear on the costs from the beginning with a 6 page report with costing. The car is already almost completed and has been transformed to exactly what I wanted. I had the pleasure of meeting Simon and his team quite unexpectedly. As I was passing the RPS workshops I noticed they had a car for sale. I ended up buying an MX5 that Simon was selling for a friend. I used RPS to service the car and they went above and beyond. I found the company an absolute pleasure to deal with, questions were answered promptly and nothing was too much trouble. Clearly the company are passionate about preparing vehicles for customers and I was given a tour of the workshop and was able to see some of the vehicles they were preparing for various events around the world. Most interesting to me were the beautiful old Chevrolets that were being prepared for the next Peking to Paris. I would highly recommend this company.
