Little gem so close to York. Great lake for your day out fishing. Usually busy over the weekend, but you will always find a place for yourself. Plenty of carp on all of the lakes. My personal favourite is the Horseshoe Lake - good mix of carp and silver. Highly recommended going for a day. Day license will set you back 8.

Fantastic place to fish, i love coming here and will miss not been able to fish here after August due to moving to the East coast. But can never stop catching every time, prawns and spam are definitely the best baits for me, thanks to Raker lakes for providing amazing fishing!!!!!!!
