Our 10 year old son is a student of Rob's at essex and havering drumming and he is fantastic with him. Laid back but professional approach, which totally suits our sensitive 10 year old. I always loved the idea of playing the drums and I came across Rob’s website, following an off the cuff search for lessons in the area. Thankfully Rob was prompt to respond to my enquiry, and we arranged a taster lesson for the following week. I’d never played before and felt a little nervous, but Rob was kindly supportive and made the experience engaging, accommodating and enormously fun. I then started having weekly lessons, and loved every second of learning to play. Rob is a highly distinguished drummer, and his incredible capacity for patience, his positive attitude and genial character make him a superb teacher. He has an infectious enthusiasm for music, is extremely approachable, but crucially identifies and creatively solves problems in ways that are effective for the individual. Furthermore, Rob maximises the time spent playing during lessons, so that any goals set thereafter are realistic to a student’s capabilities, whilst being challenging enough to make considerable progress. This, combined with the easy-going, yet professional atmosphere with plenty of good music thrown in, inspires an ongoing motivation to learn and engage in an activity which is both highly gratifying and immensely enriching. Rob is the Cat’s Pyjamas of drum tuition. 10/10.

I have been drumming with a Rob for coming up to 3 years. I don't think I would have stuck with it this long if he wasn't such a fantastic drummer and all round top guy who is a pleasure to be around. Can't recommend him enough!
