Tasty Indian cuisine, curries and masala dosa. Friendly service, good number of vegetarian options. Take away or dine-in. It was pleasant surprise to see this good Indian restaurant at Raglan. Will visit again.

Food was okay, average at best. The toilet was filthy, with no soap or paper towels. I would suggest you do away with the dine in option because it was very poor. Waitress was nice.
We ordered, paid and sat a table, only to be handed a takeaway bag after a while and being told we can't eat in because the maximum number of people were already seated (there were still free tables). No mention of that fact when we ordered; since we came from out of town we basically couldn't eat our dinner. FOH staff tried to remedy the situation by bringing us cutlery, only to take it away again after 2 minutes saying her boss told her "no". Edit: We did not order a takeaway deal, but 3 seperate items on the menu, none of them were for curries. Their advertised takeaway combo deal specifically mentions only curries. Disregarding that it would be no issue to let us to pay the outstanding amount.
Surprised by this little eatery. Got to taste the same standards from India from my journey last year. Don't be mislead by their rating. Ask them for authentic spice level n taste real Indian food. Great job guys.
Ordered the authentic biriyani and got plain rice in ghee with some chicken pieces. Paid 16.40 for this nasty food. Honestly won't recommend this thing..... This shop was famous for it's taste before, but not going back never.
Nice food. Had shavarma, good jucie one but not as normal one.
Went here tonight and found the service a little rude and misleading. while looking at the menu I was told 21 combo for butter chicken, rice, naan and drink so I said yes. The guy who served me asked me if I would like milkshake for my drink and I asked him wouldn’t you usually get a standard size fizzy as your drink with a combo, he then said they don’t have fizzy so offered to make some type of fizzy drink they make and I ended up paying 28 rather than 21. I was waiting for my partner to get his food from the shop next door and asked the guy who served me for a spoon to eat my food and he returns with a spoon and tells me that because the “deal” I ordered was takeaway I could not eat In the shop which I found extremely rude after paying way more than I thought and there were only 2 people dining in while I was there. The butter chicken was standard for the price and the only good thing ended up being the passion fruit drink I was made.
13.2. 2021. Raglan was busy . Fancied Indian food and ordered takeaway . Samosa listed at 2.50. Chicken vindaloo listed at 15.90!. Total 18.40. Tried to clip me for 27.00 . Had the cheek to say that the rice was free. Told him to keep it. Owner has since rubbished my honest review .Stated that they don’t have ‘vindaloo ‘ on their menu . So I have to be telling lies ... Just read their menu and it lists vindaloo ‘ is there still for all to read .,He was keen enough to grab my money for one . Don’t tell porkies Mr Kochi .
