Great food with cool flavour profiles and a cool vibe. Loads of drink variety and boutique beers local and around NZ. Tuesday's are a mums and buns coffee meeting in the huge open back room. Well worth stopping in.

We have just had the pleasure of eating at the Isobar tonight. One word to describe it, awesome!!! Every staff member we interacted with over the course of our evening was polite, cheerful and couldn’t do enough to help us. The service was ultra quick. The quality of the food was some of the best we’ve had during our 3 weeks of travelling the North Island. Our only regret is that we are not locals, as we would be eating here all the time!
Stopped in for a tasting rack of beers. And came back for cocktails and mocktails. The drinks came out look really pretty. Cool relaxed atmosphere, and a great looking menu. Obvious a popular local place too based on the crowds in.
Busy long weekend in Raglan. I went in to order some takeaway food and was told by the lady behind the counter that they do not do takeaway on busy nights. (Understandable) Then went on to say we save our food for in house guests that book a table. Overall tone was extremely rude and very disappointing.
Great location, friendly staff and amazing coffee! The perfect place to meet a friend for a coffee or grab a delicious lunch or dinner. Isobar is a great eatery with an outdoor seated area in the back that is quiet and secluded as well as street seating out front if you like people watching.
Service is good and friendly. My gnocchi has no flavour in it. The popcorn chicken with fries for kids is OK, because fries are nice, but chicken has no flavour apart from the batter. Beer is very good, especially the chop hop IPA by the workshops brewing company.
When I just need to get a lunch time break from work, and people, I go to Isobar and have a burger and a beer in the courtyard out back. Probably 4-5 weeks between visits but it's consistently superb. Staff are always friendly, the food is perfect, the beer on tap - choice - and I end up leaving in a place of contentment.
Faultless! Had the butchers block- steer eye fillet with mash, greens & jus. Meat was cooked perfectly. Lovely wine and staff. Thank you. :)
