Terrific Indian- one of the best I’ve been to in the UK. Delicious food and all dishes unique in flavour. They actually use lamb in their ‘lamb’ dishes (the vast majority of Indian restaurants in the UK use beef and say it’s lamb as it’s cheaper). Really friendly and attentive staff and great value. Will definitely come back!

Heads up Ragini does not serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring you own with no corkage charges! They even put someone's beer in the fridge for one customer. We were recommended Ragini by a friend of a friend. We agree! The food is Bengali in origin as well as the usual Indian takeaway offerings. I'm glad to say that there was not a sighting of frozen mixed veg! All ingredients were fresh and the meals we chose were excellent in flavour. There were unusually 3 thali dishes on offer, the third (pictured) being 4 more with meat and veg dishes including a lassi and naan bread. Many dishes are made with chicken thigh instead of breast and you are not disappointed in flavour of both. Service was fantastic, you can tell it matters to the staff and owners. I whole heartedly recommend Ragini but take a bottle with you!
We have become regular customers every Saturday night.....the food from Ragini has been the most exciting highlight of our lockdown week! You can tell the food is made with such care and attention. We will definitely keep coming back once lockdown is over. My absolute favourite dish is Begun Bahar and hubby loves the Chicken Sashlik. Thank you Ragini and looking forward to seeing you again next weekend!!
This friendly local restaurant has had an update in decor and menu. We went out for my birthday and was treated like a queen. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. Thank you for making our night special.
