This place is Manchester through and through...from the lovely staff to the even lovelier food, people from all walks of life come here to get a proper lunch meal for a price that is hard to beat. Why eat a cold soggy sandwich for lunch when you can get a homecooked meal bursting with taste for just a few pennies more? The portions are very generous, the food is fresh and super tasty. The soups are excellent too. The patties are made fresh in front of you. Try everything because whatever you go for, you won't be disappointed!

Finally after almost 5 years of living in Ancoats we tried Rads Caribbean and it did not disappoint! The curried mutton melted in your mouth and the jerk chicken was just the right level of heat. 100% recommend for a lunch time dine.
Never had a bad meal here, friendly and a nice family business with a great menu and food.
Another hidden secret takeaway lunch place in Ancoats! DELICIOUS. Heard so many good recommendation for this little lunch place and it’s just around the corner from Companio bakery. So we had one Jerk Chicken & one Mutton curry over rice and both are truly delicious. Totally comfort food feeling and massive portions as well. We’ll be back.
Saw the reviews on this and had to go and try it out. I had a meal deal of Jerk chicken and mutton, I must say it was really good and gets you full after it. If you ain't cooking then get a booking!
