In 2019, my wife and I decided to move from San Diego to Chester County. We knew we wanted a home in or about the Malvern area. After looking at what was on the market for resale we decided to go in the direction of new construction. We then looked at several different builders and their ongoing or upcoming projects and we were disappointed with the designs and the quality of the construction. Then we were referred to a new development in Charlestown Township called Cedar Run. The moment my wife and I arrived at Cedar Run we immediately became excited at what we saw. The size of the subdivision, the layout of the lots and the surrounding open areas were perfect and the home designs were exactly what we wanted. Once we toured one of the homes under construction and one that was ready to settle we knew we had hit the jackpot. Soon thereafter, we were under contract with Hellings Builders. Designing and building our new custom home from the other side of the country had its challenges. Thus, we really appreciated Ross Hellings and his Job Superintendent, Ray Karlton's, attention to our concerns and the level of communication they had with us the entire time. Even today, 18 months after our settlement their level of communication and help is just as strong as we put the finishing touches on our home.
