DELVEMADE LIMITED is rated 3 out of 5 in the category construction. Read and write reviews about DELVEMADE LIMITED. Delvemade was established by Tony Condron to market the use of silicone based coatings to overcome the problem of “cut edge corrosion” which can occur on steel roofing and cladding panels. Left untreated, the corrosion can cause leaks and ultimately premature failure of the roof, requiring very costly replacement. Delvemade is now 100% owned by ITAC, a specialist in making bespoke formulations for the rubber, adhesive and coatings markets. The Seamsil system involves 3 elements, a silicone sealant to seal the gap between roofing sheets, a base coat to cover the area affected by corrosion, and a top coat to provide a colour match to the rest of the roof. Delcote is another silicone based coating, designed to cover the whole roof area. Delcote has excellent adhesion to Seamsil and most roof coatings and will further enhance the durability of the Seamsil system, at the same time transforming the appearance of the roof. A wide range of RAL colours is available. Rooflights degrade over time but can be given a new lease of life using Delglaze, a PU based coating that restores clarity to ageing rooflights. The Seamsil and Delcote products are available in the UK from our partner HD Sharman (www.hdsharman.co.uk). Existing products will be evolved to improve performance and ease of use for contractors, while not forgetting that the systems have been proven to be effective for over 20 years. New silicone based formulations are being developed for specific niche applications. As part of the ITAC group we have the support of technical specialists and an impressive range of raw material suppliers.
