Mission Find out what we are doing in our community and our world.  Worship with us this Sunday The Bethel Church of the Nazarene typically holds two worship services each Sunday.  Both services (8:30am and 11:00am) include Scripture readings, congregational singing, prayer, sermon, and Eucharist (Lord’s Supper/Holy Communion).  The 8:30am service, a more intimate gathering, utilizes a written liturgy for congregational participation. Children are included in the worship experience and are invited to remain with their parents throughout the service. The 11:00am service employs both traditional and contemporary sounds to communicate the Story of Jesus. In this service children are invited to remain with their parents or if they are under three are welcome to be dropped off in the nursery.  All, including our children, are invited to God’s Table. Fifth Sundays of the Month: On months that have five Sundays, during the fifth Sunday of the month we meet together as a church for one service at 10:00am. After this service, we go out into the community for a service project. AUGUST SABBATH:  Each year for the month of August, we take that time as our August Sabbath to remember that our identity is not found in the ministries that we do. Our identity is found in Christ who leads us. During the month of August, we remember this important commitment communally. Therefore we rest. We will have a combined worship service at 10:00am. There will be no Sunday School, Children’s Church, Fair Foods, Board or Committee Meetings, Teen Extreme, or Nursery. We simply rest together. Each week an individual from the congregation will share their story as the sermon portion of our morning worship. It will be a blessed time together. Welcome to Bethel! Bethel Church of the Nazarene is a place where people find hope, healing, and holiness through the work of the Triune God. Our worship services are Sunday at 8:30am and 11:00am. Both services feature the weekly Eucharist. All are welcome to partake at God’s table. Nursery is available during the 11:00am service only. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:45am.
