If you are a tourist and get by chance to this place, go back and find another restaurant for dinner. The owner doesn't speak any language other than portuguese. You trust him (he's actually a nice guy) and let him choose the menu. And you pay almost 30 euros each for some meat and basic fish. No way man!

Great food, the fish was super fresh and amazing. Staff was the most efficient I’ve ever seen in Portugal! Very local place, no tourists, loved it!
Great place to have typical Portuguese food. The quality is really good and the owners are the very friendly.
In a suburban area in a typical shop with a discrete entrance next to the outdoor smoking sofa area, you find this unusually good small restaurant with traditional Portuguese food. We were a couple for lunch during the week without reservation and were received with a smile and fast remark about the last table in a full restaurant was indeed reserved for us. We had their 2 freely served fried starters, 2 half portions of their daily menus (enough for 4) which were a very tasty boar pasta and a good Cozido a Portuguesa; we shared a wonderful dessert with half a bottle of house Alentejo red wine, waters and coffees for 50 incl tip, which is a very good value/price relation. We will for sure be back with more time and without the car, because they have one of the absolutely best fine & rare Portuguese wine selections.
Great fish and service
Best traditional Portuguese food, in an informal environment. Also best wine collection.
I've frequented this establishment more than once and I have found consistency to everything they do and that keeps me coming back. Starting with the service it is one of a kind, staff are always cheerful and will engage with you every time they can. The food is good in general although they do have their specialities, like the \cabidela\ which stand out in relation to the more normal dishes. If you are the kind of person that loves a great glass of wine you are in for a treat! Their wine cellar and their wine pairing is just out of this world and the prices charged for the wine aren't that prohibitive seen that they carry mostly high end products. On a less positive side I recommend that you be sure of what you want seen that they will bring you things for you to nibble on before the main dish without you asking for them. And the same applies to dessert. As a conclusion I generally have a very good experience and I do recommend you visit this establishment at least once.
Excellent traditional food. Good service.
