An amazing feat of engineering, spectacular views of the surrounding area! It could have been improved in several places however the QS & the powers that be have signed it off plus it's free........... ENJOY!!!!!!!!

This bridge is rarely closed in winter because of the danger of ice falling from the cables and towers. My research into a solution - retrofitting cable heating technology to prevent ice from forming on the cables - is published on my blog. World record breaking bridge , you can't walk across this but the drive across and the visual appeal of the bridge is good on it and from afar ,especially at night. Now 1 of 3 bridges next to Queensferry this is the latest to link up the kingdom of Fife to Lothian
