The craving for Colombian food came back with a passion. This time, ordered big with a couple of beef and chicken empanadas as a starter and the Mr. Pollo and Typical platters to finish it off. The pork rind was fantastic as well as the rest of the meat accompaniments. Had them give me some extra spicy red sauce which hit the spot! Food was fantastic and probably taste better eating the food right at the restaurant so the chicharron doesn't lose it's crunchiness from steaming up during takeout.

If you are looking to have some great food around bayside Mr.pollo 1 is your go to.Can never go wrong with Colombian food. Amazing service! The customer service and there food was just outstanding. My husband had there typical platter which include a little bit of everything “Grilled beef, fried egg, rice, beans, sweet plantain, avocado and you can’t forget the pork rind” it was to die for that if one of our signature dishes in Colombia! Myself had Skirt Steak w/seafood, the seafood is made in a garlic creamy sauce, & you can’t forget there natural fruit juice Mora en leche and Maracuya en agua overall 10/10!
The food was not fresh. The chicken that we bought tasted, and looked like it was from the day before. Not buying from this place anymore. Hopefully, we don’t get salmonella or some sort of bug.
The grilled red snapper and seafood rice. Portions are obviously good for more than two people. Also comes with salad and plantain as well as rice. My go to locally for these great dishes
When you’re in bayside and you want tostones this is where you go. Also empanadas are really good!
