Went there on a Sunday a few weeks ago and we had the most amazing lunch. The afternoon tea was outstanding, so much in fact I ended up taking a doggy bag home. My son had a kiddies version and he enjoyed it too. My husbands lunch was nice too. The prices were not expensive either. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is so fresh and homemade cakes too. I would highly recommend this cosy little tea room to anyone. Thankyou to the wonderful ladies who work there and make our visit a lovely one. We will be back again xx

Have a brew in the Queens Mill Cafe & a walk across the bridge. Don't go too far out of your way to visit the 130m long expensive pedestrian bridge built over the river Aire in an S-shape which is next to the old mill but OK for people from Castleford & Districts. Info & Nature boards to read at each bank of the river. The Cafe has parking & is located conveniently on main road (Aire st) for motorists to pop in for refreshment if passing. Insta at smudge006 if you found this helpful.

Lovely tearoom, decorated nicely, friendly and helpful staff. They got a bit confused about my dietary requirements, but apart from that we had a lovely time. It's great that they are making use of the lovely old mill buildings, and that it's a working heritage flour mill.

Lovely tea room with good selection of teas/coffees and lunch/snacks. Nice view of the river, and friendly staff.
