We ordered catering for our guests, they did such an amazing job at preparing the foods. Everything was perfect. And you at this price nothing comes close to them.

This is my go 2 Bakhtar. Always good, I never have any problems here. They food is always perfectly cooked, the staff is very accommodating to all customers needs and requests. The staff is very knowledgeable as well. Come in for a cup or tea and good conversation. I highly recommend

Ok I'm sorry but as someone who knows Afghan food, I have to be honest about this.. Gave this place two tries and unfortunately it's just not good. Don't fall for the ratings. Very basic/dingy low-end dining and poor careless service. The lamb kabab smelled foul to us and the chicken was dry. If you're looking for authentic quality Afghan cuisine, this isn't it bc it lacks much flavor and it's too basic; they don't have appetizers or side dishes (mantu, badnjan etc) nor a choice of different rices. It's simply budget Afghan food (squirt bottles for white sauce and chatni, iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato as salad on a paper plate). So if you're looking for some quick kabab and rice as a cheap lunch date or takeout, I'm sure it's fine. Hate to sound so critical but we need to be a bit more sophisticated and genuine with our reviews. If this place is actually getting 4 stars, then what would a high-end authentic quality Afghan restaurant get? I hope the owners can acknowledge the constructive criticism since it would gain then more business and I wish them success.

I went during Ramadan for Iftar. The food was really good and came out on time. Personally I like this place better than the other bakthar.
