Lovely little country pub with a sizable contained beer garden. Climbing frame for the kids and there is coop with some sort of fowl which the kids liked. Although we didn't eat the food smelt tasty and we will be back to try it out. It looked well presented. The pub itself has exposed beams and a large open fireplace which I'm guessing will be lovely on those long winter nights. Staff were chatty and welcoming.
Came in for lunch whilst staying at 5 lakes as its only about 5mins away. Was a very friendly pub, staff were nice and chatty, had the fish and chips, chips were excellent and the battered cod was also nice. Reasonably priced good food and the beer wasn't too expensive either
This is a lovely pub, we visited in August 2020 whilst staying at the local caravan site. The owners are very welcoming, the food is good, I must recommend the strawberry Cheesecake. Decent size garden, that allows dogs, dogs are also allowed in the front bar.
Went to the Queens Head in memory of my husbands late aunt and uncle that have passed away, the food was amazing, serving well above what you would expect and the social distancing and sign arrows where very well laid out
