Kofta, steak and other dish are gem. Do like the fact they give you like 2 diff soups and salad with entrees.
This place is straight up disgusting. First, they take forever to make your food, about an hour. Second, they smoke cigarettes over the food and don’t change their gloves after touching cash, etc. Third, there was literally hair and worms in the rice. Lastly, the food did not taste good. You are better off going anywhere else. Highly do NOT recommend. Avoid this place, there’s plenty of better spots in the area.
If you don’t really fancy the chunks of chicken for some reason, then there’s an alternative. A Kofta is a chicken meatball made of chicken. Again served in gravy, it’s the perfect alternative to the rice over dish.
My new favorite spot in steinway. They give so much food. The half chicken platter is the best . Each platter comes with two soups and a salad . It's a looootttt of food
