My bf is from Cuenca and we decided to check out this place today. We ordered a ceviche mixto and a bistec encebollado. We both really liked our dishes and according to him, the flavors are right on!!! We've tried several Ecuadorian places and this one has been one of the best. Good service, reasonable prices and huge portions. My plate came with rice but I asked for a salad substitution. He had a choice between rice or tostones. He noted that the ceviche should be a little more acidic, but it was easily corrected with some limes. Mine was perfect and my only suggestion would be to offer a spicier ají or salsa. Oh, and no salt on our beers next time. Overall, great place.

Be aware of ordering before asking for prices. They have a huge amount of menus all over the inside of there store and around there outdoor dining and the prices in the menu aren’t updated. For a number 129 which is a “Chaulafan” it’s 14(price on there menu) but In all actuality it’s 20.00. I ordered 2 and she charged me 40.00. I canceled the order. No thanks. I’ll take my money to Pollo Mario.
