My Dad likes the place but I find the menu limited due to having a plant based diet. The environment is lovely and the staff are friendly. The meals I've had were filling and portions are perfect. Mx

Lovely gastropub style, family and dog-friendly establishment with an eclectic, non-pretentious menu & ambiance. We have visited on multiple occasions to enjoy their 2 for 12 cocktails and new menu. Their selection is complete with the most tender flavorful feather blade steak cooked to perfection, yummy loaded fries, smoked BBQ baby back ribs, and decadent chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert. We also love to order their 2 for 20 takeaway burgers/fries.
Excellent service and delicious food in a comfy, cosy setting, what more could you ask for on a cold October evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, and very accommodating of my allergies so huge thanks for that, food was wonderful and my hubby scoffed his burger down so quickly it barely touched the sides; he's a very fussy eater so major points there! All in all a lovely experience and will be bringing my friends here next time they visit, thanks so much for making our anniversary meal so great. P.S. They did not know the meal was for a special occasion so I feel this is genuinely how good their customer service is, thanks guys! P.P.S. I highly recommend the scotch egg for starter, rich egg yolk and smoky black pudding with crunchy crumb, incredible, could have eaten 3 of them!
Very well organised re covid-19 requirements; super food with attentive and excellent service.
Was lucky enough to grab a table for lunch here when visiting Bury Xmas Market . Thoroughly enjoyed my \How Deer You\ , very tasty, great flavours and generous portion of fries.
