We were travelling from Calgary and heading home to Nova Scotia and had a stopover in Old Quebec City. We came across some positive reviews about this little bistro so decided to try it out. Ian was our amazing waiter. The french onion soup and mussels were awesome followed by the delicous seafood stew. We loved all of it but the best was getting to know the owner over a drink of Belle de Brillet liqueur and cognac. We highly recommend this wonderful little Bistro and will definitely be back. Amazing service with fantastic food! Everything about my experience was great. Server was quick and polite, and very welcoming. The food was some of the best food I've had in awhile. Zero complaints about Bistro St-Malo.
This was our favourite restaurant in Quebec. The service was phenomenal and the food was so fresh and full of flavour. We had fish and a seafood ragú... Both were amazing. It is such a cozy little place but you need a reservation because it's very popular.
What a cute and quaint place. I had a typical Quebec meal cousselet. It was like a stew. The place had a romantic tone to it.
