Dear Ashley & Judith, I write to commend you on the service you provided to me recently. Having recently bought an older property for the first time, we decided to undertake some home improvements which involved ripping out and revamping the kitchen. During the work suspected asbestos was found. I was told by numerous people that it would be fine to ‘wet and dispose’ of the asbestos, but having a young family and having heard the horror stories you have previously shared I did not hesitate in gaining your professional opinion. From the moment I mentioned this, you wanted to ensure that my family were living in a safe environment and came to visit the very next morning at 8.30am even though you were due to leave for your holidays at 10am. You explained the process clearly and told me that you anticipated the results to come back confirming the worst type of asbestos and that this certainly should not be touched. You taped up the already broken area and told me that you would be back in touch as soon as the lab results were available. You also explained the long term effects of asbestos to me giving me a clear understanding of the seriousness of the situation if this was not dealt with properly. Despite being on holiday, you called me within 48 hours to confirm the expected results and put me in touch with the best people for the job. I cannot thank you enough for your quick work and personal service. But most importantly, I was impressed by your company ethics which centre around you putting peoples safety and long term health at the heart of everything you do. You put my childrens health at the forefront of your advice and for this I cannot thank you enough. Too many companies these days look at the here and now, whereas your drive and determination to do the right thing over the long term sets you apart from other companies. We used Qube to provide an Asbestos report. The service provided exceeded my expectations and as a company, we were very pleased with the service. The report was not only very comprehensive but in depth and was presented in a very professional way.
