What's on my mind? A Quayside Haddock Fish and Chip Supper, (large) with bread for 18.50 plus a pot of tea. Haddock cooked to perfection. Flesh white with beautiful crumb structure. Batter crisp but not hard and all cooked to order. Scrummy! Well worth a visit!

We eat at Quayside in December 2020 and throughly enjoyed our lunch. We both had Cod and Chips which was excellent - perfectly cooked. We had a side of Scampi which was also fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend you visit! Paid about 40 for lunch for two.
Lovely fish and chip restaurant, had to wait to be seated by a friendly waiter, surroundings where very clean and pleasant. We ordered fish, chips, mushy peas with bread and butter and a pot of tea. It was worth the money. The batter was light and crispy, chips where a golden colour just how we like them. My bother in law is gluten free, and he said they was delicious. Will definitely be vi visiting again.
Very very delicious fish and chips. I give 5 stars out a lot. But this place makes me question every five star I've ever given. In future ill only be giving 5 stars for excellence. Was such good service. The made sure everything was clean. And very quick to give food. And wow the food was fantastic. Really recommend going here if you find yourself in the area. Had high chair for baby. And nice clean toilets. My only negative feedback is just the price of it all. But when getting a 5 star service I suppose you should expect to pay a little more. Very well done quay side. Would love to share pictures but I ate all my food far to quickly.
Ordered two lots of fish & chips. They were cooked fresh to order and so were hot. That's the only good point. The fish was thin, grey and tasted of not a lot, would guess at frozen . Went here as reviews were good but sorry, regretted it and won't use again.
