Just popped in here today after a quick search online and have to say I was impressed with the variety and quality of the tropical fish in Stock . You can tell by how good the tanks looked that these people really know and enjoy what they do . Also spoke to a very helpful and knowledgeable young man working there. Bought some guppies to start off my new aquarium. Will definitely use this place again.

I used to have a high opinion of this shop but I was here recently and overheard a worker tell a customer that they sell singular rabbits! I was astounded because I had previously had a lovely conversation with a woman over a year ago where we talked about how bad it is for rabbits to be alone, she even mentioned that she routinely turned down people who wanted just one. Even pets at home who I have a VERY low opinion of understands that rabbits are group animals and won’t sell them alone! Someone who is incredibly dedicated to their lone rabbit and spends say 4 hours a day with them (which is allot!) still leaves that rabbit alone for 20 hours out of a day. Every single study that has looked at this has shown that rabbits do far worse alone, increased stress, bar biting, unable to express natural behaviours like grooming and sleeping together and I would expect a PET SHOP to know about basic care of the animals they sell. Clearly this shop now prioritises making a sale over animal welfare and I just hope they aren’t repeating this behaviour with the other social animals they sell. I will not be returning.
