Place was crowded, fortunately we had reservation, food was tasty but sweet as expected, the pork kidney was a bit undercooked, some dishes were salty. Underground parking lot across street was convenient. Service was excellent

Heritage class restaurant in Taichung City. Shanghai cuisine with a twist of Taiwanese flavor. Famous among locals and getting international food lover's attention. Many must try dishes, just ask your waitress for the recommendation list. Reservation is required for a table over weekends.
It famous for the Xiao long bao. To try more things in Taichung, we only ordered Xiao long bao at this restaurant. That was tasty and juicy inside.

Quality restaurant serving in good manner. Taste is a bid stronger, I mean salty, than standard, and that is suitable for beer! If you come after 7pm, you will find long queue.
Very old restaurant opened in 1949, offering tasty dishes with nice flavor! Service is great too.
I and my friend ordered 4 menues. We were the second guests of dinner time. The restaurant went full soon after we entered. Delicious but similar to din tai pung. Worth a visit. But with no big expectation.
