The Amusement Critic

This store used to be a place for young and old to come and enjoy various types of candy ranging from traditional Dutch candy all the way to treats from the USA, UK and Japan. But that all changed when the previous owner sold the franchise off to a pair of new owners after he failed to keep the place afloat due to dwindling interest in the store. While the previous owner was a nice, honorable and respectable man who treated his customers like kings, the new owners (presumably man and wife) have been treating all of their customers like dirt. When I first went there after the previous owners departure, I did not realise that he had left. I asked if he was there and the new owners started looking at me with a mean face and started to scream about how hes not there anymore and that he will never come back. That response seems a TEENSIE bit overboard, don't you think? Furthermore, they treat all of their customers like idiots and even go as far as to mock them whenever they didnt know what was in certain products (in the likes of gluten, nuts, etc). All in all, this place went from 5 start to a 0, but I'm giving it one star due to Google not allowing me to post this review without it. Rest in Peace, Jamin Purmerend. 12/09/2015 - 16/01/2018
