Sister and I came to Forfar as half way meet up for a coffee. Visited Purdeys based on recommendations here and we were not disappointed. Cold drink, hot soup, home bake and cappuccino all for 6.80 each. You can't argue with that. Very friendly local, small business working hard during very difficult times. Local feel but welcoming to all.

I've been going here for a good while now and...well...What can I say.... Always a wonderful experience. Forget your Retail chain coffee outlets, THIS is the place to go! Homebaked, fresh and tasty treats. Not to mention the hospitality...the banter is always on form and I always leave there smiling and with my day feeling brighter. Thanks folks, no doubt see you soon, next time I'm in Forfar.
Bacon was crisp. Pancakes were light and fluffy and the hot chocolate was god like
Absolutely love to pop in when I'm in Area . It's a little hidden treasure!! . Lovely homemade delights . Everything is so tasty. Great prices & EXCELLENT service. Love the layout and decor .very cosy . Makes for a very pleasant experience with friends and family .
Stopped by briefly. Lovely home bakes. Table service and friendly staff. Also liked the booth-like seating, gives you some privacy.
