It was the worst puff (patties) I had in my life. It was stale, had smelling masala in it, and seemed to be made 2 days ago by reheating it. I'm such a huge fan of puff that I always eat more than one. But here it was so bad that I couldn't consume even half of it. There's not even a proper place to sit, and the stuff is very rude. Worst experience. If this is the condition of veg over here, just imagine how old and stale their non-veg items would be. At any day, my health comes prior to this overhyped-disappointing-restro-like-bakery.

No hard feelings, but this place was an utter disappointment. Went there for the Cuisine and Heritage of the place. When we reached the place we were the only customers, which gave a mixed feeling. In regards to the food the pricing is way too exorbitant for the quantity served. The Biryani quantity wasn't enough for one person also. All-in-all wasn't worth it.

Authentic parsi experience that makes Pune have a character of its own amidst the usual malls and commercialisation that's happening in every city. The food was great and the legendary caramel custard pudding lived up to it's name.

Dorabjees Restaurant is an old legendary Restaurant in pune dating back to 1878. It still has old charm and nostalgic feeling. It serves authentic parsi dishes such as dhansak. Salli farcha and biryani. The restaurant is in old building and has basic table chairs seating arrangement. The menu is very limited from what was earlier with very few options to choose from. We decided to try out below dishes. Chicken farcha 260 - chicken fried in egg batter with a bit sweet sauce. Chicken was soft and fried perfectly. Chicken Biryani 320 - biryani was good but quantity was very less for the price. Its barely sufficient for a single person and we have to order 2. Chicken in biryani was cooked properly and taste was good. Caramel custard /pudding 100 - not sure what it exactly was custard with texture of a pudding. It was ok and wasnt sweet or caramel. Overall bill was 1000 rs for 2. Service was quick and orders delivered immediately. There was no Covid-19 precautions as no one was checking anything and saw some idiots without masks with management not doing anything. Go with your own risk. Ambience 1/5 Food 4/5 Service 4/5 VFM 1/5
