Battery died on Porsche Boxster as left longer than thought due to Covid etc. Rang Porsche Marbella. Phone was not answered and finally on 4th time calling I got a person. They took my name, car details and number and said they would call back. I had the impression that only a Porche dealer can change the battery due to coding ( at least they would like you to think that). Anyway 2 days later and no call. Went to Norauto and battery changed for 180. I wonder what I would be charged by Porsche ? Maybe a lifetime Porsche owner is not worth the bother ?
I was very positively impressed by their excellent and professional service. My 996 had a roof problem and they fixed it perfectly for very reasonable cost. The staff was very friendly. They do have a lot of work on their hands and therefore it might sometimes require a little patience. But definitely the service is worth that.
