Amazing spot for a variety of pisco drinks. We showed up around 6pm on a Saturday night and were the only people there; from the sound of it, it gets packed later in the night so judge your arrival based on the vibe you want. El Pisquerito is setup sort of like a lounge more than a bar or restaurant; the space is mostly clusters of plush couches and arm chairs with coffee-tables. Art all over the wall, and a wide selection of strong pisco-drinks to choose from. The neighborhood seemed pretty sketchy on the way there, I'd recommend a good Uber ride or a trusted cab driver to and from.

Awesome down to earth bar to enjoy an informal drink amongst friends. The have the best cheese and marmalade platter on the cheap!

Absolutely fantastic bar, with wonderful tapas and light food (pisco marinated mushrooms and butter-soft anticuchos are especially good). Huge (and entertaining) menu of pisco drinks, and great selection of boutique and artisanal piscos. Live music (criollo) some nights; monthly pisco tastings from different bodegas. Elegantly appointed and spacious, in a beautiful old house in Pueblo Libre, blocks from the Museo Nacional de Arqueología e Antropología. Hans Hilburg is one of Lima's foremost bartenders, at the front of the pisco boom of the past 15 years. Lima at its best, and a must for anyone interested in pisco.
