I have recently had a number of acupuncture sessions with Emma and from onset, found her to be highly professional, knowledgable and caring. I decided to have acupuncture to ease with a number of headaches and migraines I was experiencing. From the first session to the most recent one with Emma, I always feel a huge amount of energetic shifts on all levels . My headaches have literally vanished! I have been receiving treatment from Emma for some time, because of various medical issues. Emma is knowledgeable, kind & helpful. She has been able to dramatically reduce my pain, lift my mood, help me to sleep & relax. Emma has been there, throughout my medical problems, as someone to listen & support me, as well as knowing which acupuncture points will benefit me the most. I was quite sceptical about acupuncture & alternative therapies, but after being treated by Emma, I'm a convert & would use acupuncture for any medical problem, in the future & I would always choose to use Harmony for my treatment.
I've suffered from tension headaches all my adult life and could not get to the bottom of what was causing them. After a particular painful month long headache, I was desperate to find a solution so looked for an alternative treatment. I was recommended Harmony Acupuncture in Leeds and I'm really glad I did. Emma is fantastic; she makes you feel really welcome and comfortable. Emma took me through a thorough consultation before we started the acupuncture. I found the whole experience very relaxing and wasn't at all anxious about the needles. Emma also recommend some other things I could try to help eliminate the headaches. After a course of treatment, I feel a whole lot better and haven't had a headache for weeks. I feel like a different person. I would definitely recommend Emma to anyone who is struggling with long-term pain.
I started to look into acupuncture in Leeds after researching natural remedies to help with fertility treatment. Harmony appealed to me as the website had a lot of information about treatment for infertility and was linked with Zita West fertility specialists. Emma was very welcoming, friendly and extremely thorough in taking down all my medical history, she knew so much about acupuncture fertility and I immediately felt that I could trust and talk to her. Although I didn't feel much different physically at first, when it came to going through clomid treatment and then onto IVF, I found it relatively easy and put this down to starting the the acupuncture treatment beforehand as well as all the advice from Emma. The acupuncture was tailored to compliment my medical treatment and after a few sessions the points were becoming stronger but not painful and I felt like I could physically feel the benefits of treatment - it was also great to relax during treatment. I was successful after my first attempt at IVF! There is no pressure to book again, just recommendations but I have decided to continue with it to help me through pregnancy and would recommend to anyone who has fertility problems to try.
