It has been 6 months since our carpet was fitted in February 2019 and the issues pointed out to Phil at the time, pictures attached, have not been rectified despite Phil running the business on \GOOD OLD ENGLISH VALUES GIVING EVERY CUSTOMER 100% SATISFACTION\. I like to think I am a fair person, hence giving Phil over 6 months to correct the issues, however satisfaction levels are hovering a tad lower than 100%. The carpet itself was nice, however, a lumpy carpet on installation, a newly plastered wall being chipped from doors being slammed, freshly painted wall being marked all the way up the stairs from the carpet being dragged along them, a missing door bar and damaged carpet was not what i expected. I have visited Phil's store regularly since, get told things will get sorted but don't actually seem to get anywhere. I have now given up and resigned myself to accepting it was a high price to pay to differentiate between those who talk customer service and those who deliver it. I have had to instigate everything, Phil has never asked if people have turned up and fixed things, hence my repeated store visits. My last visit in July resulted in Phil agreeing with a fitter on the phone that they would visit Thursday PM. Thursday AM, I am given the fitters number to arrange a time myself! Turns out the fitter couldn't do the agreed Thursday slot, didn't show or contact on the rearranged Friday and didn't reply to my subsequent message. The carpet joiner/door bar not being fitted really is a travesty, the initial fitter came out twice but never remembered to bring a bar, the second fitter also didn't have one and never returned!
Fabulous service. Good products at reasonable prices. I have bought furniture beds and carpets here. Very impressed with everything provided. I will not go anywhere else for carpets as phil and his team are the best!!
