The advantage to Pudding and Pie is that you can eat \outside\ while still having the arcade roof protecting you from the elements. Well set up for social distanced eating, the staff were attentive and the menu well stocked despite the covid lower footfall. Great to be able to eat out safely and support local businesses. Beautiful surroundings and ambience of Wayfarers Arcade. Burgers a big hit with the boys, paninis were good too - there was great excitement about the top notch bacon!

A fab cafe at the back of the Wayfarer arcade which in these Covid times FEELS like outdoor eating but is thankfully under the wonderful Victorian glass roof and kept us nice and dry despite the rain pelting down. It's sad to see many shops in the arcade are now shut permanently (Covid reasons or not) but it would be a shame to miss this beautiful architectural building when in Southport otherwise. But on to the food OMG- their bacon is SUBLIME! When I asked the proprietor where it came from (hoping it would be a local supplier) he said Belgium, and BOY can you tell!! It's like straight from farm shop dry cured thick sliced, fat free delight. We will return to enjoy their breakfast in future, which incidentally is on until 11.30 so we only just missed it x
