The best chippie in Christchurch. Usually get a delivery. Arrives hot and in time. Nice crispy batter and chips how they should be. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Would highly recommend

On a rainy day, it was the best idea ever to get some awesome fish & chips. The staff at the counter was so polite and friendly. We'll be back and are looking forward to our next visit. The germans with the 2 little dogs. Thanks guys

I visited this fish & chip shop this evening as I was staying locally but sadly everywhere i went were closed, I ordered the haddock & chips with curry sauce from the server, I paid & then asked if I had to wait outside as I know most chip shops request this now, she said if you want to so I presumed I had to, but I then noticed whoever went in to make an order after me stayed in the warm, whilst I was outside freezing, so she should of explained things clearer. Once my meal was ready, she called me back in & the chef jokingly said that he hoped I was hungry as the fish was a whopper, I told him I was starving, it looked & smelt delicious but unfortunately by time I walked back to my hotel the food was barely warm, next time I'm in the area this is the first place I will go to, but with the car as I only Intended to visit Browns who had decided to change their closing times overnight to 7pm, both the food quality & service are appallingly bad there anyway so I wouldn't recommend it, this place is so much nicer & they do have a restaurant as well as a takeaway.

Fantastic! As a treat this evening we ordered fish & chips, two cod & a childs meal. Ordering via the website was easy with a full menu choice. We had delivery at an extra 1.. When the food arrived it was still very hot & fresh & bang on time too! We really enjoyed it, & portion sizes were a bit big for us.. Very full up now! Thankyou to Priory Fryer for a lovely meal

Very nice fish and chip shop. Has lots of seating in rear. Also a licensed premises. Take away at the front of premises Server comes to the table to take orders. Fish and chips came with unlimited chips which is ideal for very hungry people.
