Long time local favorite in the Princeton area. Sandwiches are just okay, not amazing. For a first-time visit, try one of their specialty sandwiches like the Phat Lady or the Sanchez. A half sandwich is quite filling, although the idea of putting fries and mozzarella sticks in a sandwich isn’t really mind-blowing. The Sanchez sauce is their signature sauce - it’s similar to a honey mustard.
I think the problem with this cheesesteak is No Meat. Okay very little meat. The good news is you get a very good toasted long roll with tasty big pieces of fried onions. We went with the Hoagie Haven special sauce and it was very good. I liken it to a spicy Russian dressing. I was pleasantly surprised they didn’t kill me with a big price, 9
This was my first time at the restaurant. Amazing food! Such great flavor. And, the service was very friendly. The waitresses and owner kept us comfortable, happy and well fed. We ordered the non-vegetable platter for an appetizer; and, chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, chicken korma and tandoori chicken for a meal. It fed the four of us very well and again was delicious. BYOB was an added bonus! We will definitely come back often! The buffet set up for lunch looks incredible... :)
LOVE the food here! SO UNIQUE AND ICONIC! I will always come back for a Sanchez! Only unfortunate thing here is calories to count when you finish! Fills ya up for sure PAPA BLESS!
