Great tea and cakes ( all home made) in a lovely garden, in a beautiful Old Devon village. We even sat and watched the thatcher at work. Idyllic.

I have absolutely no negative comments to make about this adorable tea rooms. Staff were very attentive, friendly and obliging. Great selection of home made cakes. We had egg mayonnaise roll and salmon roll both were bursting with delicious filling. Fruit scones were still warm, a huge selection of different jams. Just loved it.
This is a little slice of heaven, a well tended garden with beautiful scenery, an adorable tea room with an incredible array of cakes. The food is absolutely worth every penny and more. It's very popular with locals and tourists with a large amount of returning customers making it the place to go. If you're in the area, don't miss it, we've enjoyed this place so much even with the covid measures.
Absolute gem. Beautiful garden, very charming setting and the best cream tea we’ve had. Choice of jams- we tried two and both were amazing. Also enjoyed a large salad of fruits and vegetables with goat’s cheese- highly recommend.
That was the most amazing salad I've ever had. And my gluten free daughter was so happy - probably the first decent gf sandwich she's had out. The staff were really friendly and helpful, if you sit outside, the setting is amazing with very private feeling tables in individual sections of the garden. I'd give the Primrose Tea Rooms more stars of I could. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Devon!
