Huge thanks to Prices Garage and, on this occasion, nothing really to do with cars. This morning I was in desperate need of mending an household item, on which 2 small bits of metal had parted company, but in a way that was beyond my expertise or equipment to repair. In the course of trying 6 different premises on the industrial estate, I was told that no replacement spare part could be obtained, that I'd need to find a welder, that the job was too small and then that it was the wrong type of metal and could not be fixed. I then tried Prices, where the gent there took one look, said, 'Give me 2 minutes' and then fixed it perfectly. Just like that. More than ever, we still need places like Prices - independent, family-run businesses, able and willing to help out where they can. Many thanks indeed.
