I worked at steel fab uk for the last couple of months. I just read the previous review and felt it was a bit unfair. It is standard practice for fabrication companies to interview and weld test applicant's as there are so many lads claiming they are fabrictor welders. It is a good way to see if an applicant is capable of welding and fabricating. I cant believe someone would drive for 2.5 hours for an interview and refuse to do a simple fab weld test. Steel fab uk carry out high quality metal fabrication and welding. If your not up to standard with your welding and fabricating skills, steel fab uk is not the place for you. The simple weld and fab test would expose this. This is why companies ask potential employees to do a weld test to weed out the dead wood as the cost of taking someone on is expensive. Steel fab uk is a well run family business. Quality of work is paramount.
