Plenty of car park space and a few picnic tables around the car park area. The site is a basic circular path, at a fairly brisk pace I would estimate about 20 minutes to walk right round and back to the car park. If you/the kids/the dogs go off the official path it'll be longer, but there are signs advising you to stay away from the river, which is often swollen after heavy rain and very fast flowing. There's a decent information board at the beginning of the walk, and overall the paths are clean, free of litter and well maintained. I don't have any disability issues but it looks to me a good wide path throughout with no steps or stiles so I think it is wheelchair friendly although it's a bit boggy in places. At the car park end is the beginnings of a memorial forest where people have planted trees and erected small plaques for loved ones. And there's an area just off the path with plenty of lengths of tree trunks lying around to make dens. I usually get a sit down at this point while my two kids make a den for themselves. Also a decking area overlooking a small lake where you can often see birds - last time we visited there was a family of two swans and their two cygnets. This site is very popular with dog walkers and the dogs are usually off the lead. Only downside is that this site is very close to the M6 motorway, and there is a constant loud hum of traffic in the background. Not loud enough to interrupt conversation, but if you fancy some quiet time in the countryside listening to bird song, this walk probably isn't going to work for you.

Very scenic with the river flowing nearby, good for a short walk, and has a large car park. Would be good to go on a summers day.

Great place to have a walk with the dogs or to get back to nature. Well maintained car park and footpaths.
