I ordered and paid in full for a dining table and was told I would receive a call from the warehouse 4 days later for delivery, 7 days later I’m still waiting for that call, the store isn’t answering the phone and when I did get through I was cut off , then after another 10 attempts I got through to the same lady who told me her phone was KNACKERED and she couldn’t find my tel number to call me back but had passed a message to the sales man for a call back( how when she didn’t know my number ?) I have since received a voice mail from Ryan telling me they will have to get a courier to deliver the table as the warehouse didn’t want to deliver it as it was glass and scared of damaging it(doesn’t this company deliver glass tables , I’m sure the do if they sell them) but no dates or timescales, this really isn’t good enough and extremely poor service. When we have resolved this issue I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying from this company as I’m sure they don’t know the meaning of customer service( I have since emailed to CEO for a resolution)

Bought 2 large sofas, 2 armchairs and a footstool, all Duresta and worth over 10000. At the time of ordering we offered the dimensions of our doors but were told that they were not needed. One of the delivery men would have given up at the front door after holding his elbows out to the side and announcing that they wouldn't be able to get the furniture in. Luckily for us his colleague was made of sterner stuff. Furniture Village boast a \white glove\ delivery service, what a joke, not only were there no gloves to be seen (even as Covid protection), our expensive furniture was handled with zero care. They took the fabric covers off to make handling easier but this resulted in the plastic covering being torn and one of the sofas being marked when they put it down in a puddle. There was damage to both sofas, 4 out of 6 of the casters need replacing and the wooden part of all 8 tassles on the tie backs was smashed. They couldn't even get the armchairs into our house so they are still outside in my shed for the moment. It took numerous calls to Customer Services to finally get a technician out to look at the sofas and we are still waiting for the replacement parts and repairs. We got an email this morning saying that the suppliers are closed for a holiday, with no apology whatsoever for the delay or the disappointment and inconvenience caused. Avoid this place if you want your furniture to arrive in one piece and to be left inside your house!

We visited the Preston showroom just after lock down was lifted and everything was in place to adapt to the new guidelines without feeling uncomfortable. We were helped by Chris to choose a lovely velvet sleigh bed frame and dining table & chairs - he wasn't at all pushy but informative and nothing was too much trouble. Admittedly it's frustrating having to wait several weeks for delivery due to the bottleneck created by COVID but it was well worth it when our items were delivered and assembled today by two lovely guys, Lee and Ady. They kept us updated on delivery time and when they arrived they were extremely pleasant and efficient whilst adhering to all hygiene and social distancing regs with ease, yet answering all our questions on the items we'd bought. They removed all the packaging and left the house like new. The furniture is fantastic quality and we're delighted with the end to end service we've received.
