My favourite restaurant in Grenoble, great choice of salads

Great salads. The pizza looked great, but was a bit dry. Fish and chips were tasty as well.

Stumbled upon this place on our walk from the station into town. Lovely staff and good food. Would recommend without a doubt.

Quite a nice place, the staff speaks poor English though and sometimes it’s tough to understand each other. But tacos are great

3.5 stars. We were 4 people. The menu is in English and French. However, not sure if the staff speaks English as we spoke French to our waitress who was very nice. We ate outside which was nice but nothing particular with the setting. The first reason we lowered the rating was because we were almost forced to order a meal each when we did not have this issue at other restaurants. We were not that hungry and did not want to order more than we planned but ended up comprimising. Otherwise we would have left to go elsewhere, there were many choices around. The portions were reasonable. The pesto snails were good and flavorful. The marinière mussels were good but not any better/worst than other places we have tried. We also ordered the duck risotto which had no risotto but fries instead. We were not informed of that which is the other reason we dropped the rating. We were debating on frog legs and the duck risotto but our mother needs her rice once in a while and so we chose the latter. The duck itself was a bit too chewy and the vegetables were just soaked in Olive oil with no seasoning. Overall, the quality/price ratio is decent. Our waitress was very nice and helpful but unfortunately we had to lower the rating because of little incident. Risotto is obviously more expensive than fries but we still had to pay the same price. Otherwise we would have rated 4 stars.
