COVID-19 Breeding Ground! Less than 2 weeks ago, and out of sheer desperation, my husband visited this shop. In our 60's, we have been so careful, yet my husband is now very unwell because we believe he contracted it from this Premier shop. The staff overall have been very careful, but the issue is with young people. They hover around the shop in large groups, without masks, spitting on the pavement, and then touching everything in the shops without any consideration for us vulnerable people. Personally, I don't think the shop owners care as long as they keep making money, but who would blame them? The reason i believe this shop is passing the virus on is because my husband hasn't left the house in 3 weeks, apart from his emergency trip to get me essentials we could't get delivered. I think the shop should enforce wearing masks, even for children. Also, anti-bacterial hand lotion should be given to all before entering the premises, and I have already informed the Police how large groups hang around the shop and cafe, while the owners do nothing. I understand a friend who lives opposite the shop is now monitoring the premises, so hopefully good men like my husband don't have to suffer because of incompetence.

The shop is very lovely, the staff are very kind and generous. They now opened the post office and it has saved my life for me to drive down a long way to send my package, the shop has helped me with so much shopping and collecting parcels. I highly recommend to everyone

Staff rarely greet you at checkout, I've even been served while staff are talking on their mobile phone. When they get deliveries all the stock is left on the floor in the already narrow aisles making it difficult and sometimes dangerous to move around. Not a recommended shop if you're disabled, in a wheelchair or have vision problems as you'll have no chance of navigating or moving around safely. Save your misery and go to Tesco Express 500 yards down the road.

Hi, Im new to the area and felt I am in a good place to add a review for this shop in light of the covid threat post. I will keep it short. Im an intensive care nurse in the nhs and see nothing wrong in the practices of this shop in relation to keeping patrons safe. If we wear masks and sanitise our own hands we will be as safe as can be in any location. There is always a risk anywhere you go in a pandemic. Stay safe all
