Friendly family run business. Had the crab tagliatelle with garlic, cream and white wine sauce. Delicious! Also good for a coffee and cake stop.

My husband took me to this enchanting restaurant for my birthday lunch,where I was welcomed with a beautifully presented hamper fully of delicious goodies from their store. The owners were so warm and friendly and the food was outstanding, not to mention the delicious wine. Couldn't have been happier.

If a place that I visit does everything absolutely perfectly and I really like it, I'll rate it 4 stars - because if I gave it 5 and then I went somewhere that was perfect in every way AND went above and beyond that, I'd want to give it MORE than 5 stars, which isn't possible. Prego is a rare one that gets all 5 without hesitation. You could have a collection of Michelin stars and not beat the service, quality of food, friendliness or certainly value for money at Prego. If I'm within 20 miles, I'll be back for lunch!
