It is easily accessible by car. Those who like more adventures can get there by a cable car. A reward is some of the most breathtaking views. The place is simply idyllic and charming. There is a friendly little restaurant offering you laid-back and relaxing feeling.

So far our favorite beach. The roads are steep and definitely just one way for one car at a time possible. I recommend Parking at the top and taking the gondola down. We found this place the best for self organized snorkeling. Make sure to pack some proper shoes as this is another rocky beach.
Generally it's nice there. Beach is clean, water is warm... Only problem are stones themselves, it's hard to move and painfull for feets. If you are not cautious, you could get injured.
It is one of my favorite beach in the south of Madeira Island. It is clean, clear water and most of the time without big waves which is good :)
Great and fresh food, nice service!
To go to the beach you should take the cable car. You can go there also by car and that is what I did, but the road is very steep and narrow. There is no space for 2 cars (except 2 small cars like fiat 500) and if another car comes from a different direction you could have some issues. There is also a nice bar and restaurant on the beach.
A great place to see. I suggest to take your time and go down to the beach on foot. The road is not busy and not too steep, therefore the walk is relaxing and the view is rewarding. The beach itself enchants with wave sounds. The cafe has reggae music and you can chill there. After the swimming and ponchas cable car is the best way to go up, doesn't require a lot of effort and provides astonishing views.
A very nice pebble beach which can be reached by the car or a cable car. A cable car costs 3 per person both ways. There is a bar and a diving centre.
