Excellent van hire: good value, friendly and helpful, flexible pick up/drop off hire times. We drove from Cambridge to Haverhill to hire the van, as better than any Cambridge based options when we wanted to hire. Highly recommend

Fairly cheap van to move daughter to university(last one available on that date)but van was 4 year's old and very dirty inside not great during covid 19 as things should be sanitised. Updated 10/10/20 No wipes in van. Yes it was sticky but not from being sanitised as it was filthy.
I hired a van from Practical at Haverhill. In all honesty, I can't praise this little company highly enough. Not only did I get an excellent van at a very reasonable rate, they did everything possible to assist me and make this rental go smoothly, I was taking the van to Germany and they provided me with excellent advice about possible routes, help with booking ferries and various tips that came in very useful during my trip. I was even provided with a very comprehensive AA Europe travel kit with all the legally required headlamp deflectors, GB stickers, warning triangles etc. The manager provided me with a mobile phone number in case I needed heip outside normal hours, and I was given great advice about where to stay locally at great rates too. You just wouldn't get that level of customer care from the big car hire companies. I'm very impressed, and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Haverhill Practical Car and van hire to anyone needing to rent a vehicle.

It's a few years ago now that I needed to urgently hire a car from Mon to Fri every week for a six week period. BecaueB of where I live I had to have the vehicle delivered and collected every time. This company were truly amazing, because I wasn't needing the vehicle at the weekends they agreed a special rate as long as the car wasn't used at weekends. They trusted me not to use the car and I didn't. They went above and beyond what you would expect of a car hire company .The staff were amazing,so friendly and professional. For a small company they've got the customer service 100% spot on. Many companies could learn from them. The vehicles are in excellent order . immaculate and no nasty hidden charges. When my daughter moved and they needed a van I insisted they use practical as I had had such a great experience with them and that's so rRernowadays that you don't forget it. I'm looking to hire a larger vehicle so I don't use my own SUV for a week away in Wales later this year and practical will be the company I go to .I won't even look elsewhere!
