Ordered some beef bones, beef shin and beef shoulder on tuesday to pick up on wednesday. Came back on wednesday just to be told they dont have any despite the fact it was reserved and was supposed to be picked up around 12:30... 0 stars for the service from us. Until next order dear local butchers, hopefully then you will do your job right...
I've been shopping in here every week since March. The staff are very friendly, the prices are great, and most important the meat is top quality. Not really sure what else to say, but I won't shop anywhere else for my meat now. 5 stars to Poyntons, keep up the great work - thanks guys! :)
I have been using Poyntons for many years now & spend a fair amount of money on each visit. The staff are a credit to the business and willing to go the extra mile. If you want a meat they don't stock i guarantee they can get hold of it for you and it won't cost the earth. The butchers sources their supplies from local farms and businesses which I fully support, and will continue to support. The goods themselves are always high quality. Go check them out and see for your self, Don't take my word for it
Popped in, very friendly service. We got a decent amount of minced meat which was extremely fresh. Very high quality end meat which wasn’t expensive! Definitely returning 5 stars
