Great little shop selling local produce, not just bread milk and eggs... they have they’re own butchery, a small Cafe, deli counter with the best scotch eggs.. you can even fill your own milk bottles... They sell venison from the estate and the bacon is to die for.

We loved it! A really good shopping experience, there's a shop that sells some wonderful items for the home, ladies clothes, some imaginative toys, cards, rugs and much more. Then there's the fabulous farm shop & garden centre with a little takeaway cafè. We then had a lovely walk in the grounds looking at the herd of deer. A lovely experience & well recommended.

Very disappointed to turn up on Xmas Eve and see the main shop shut at 2pm and the cafe shutting at 3pm and only offering tea and cake we weren't the only ones left disappointed and about 10 customers were turned away at the same time, surely with all that's going on in the world right now such business would want to be making some money at least, you could of least stayed open until 5pm which still gives your staff plenty of family time to enjoy their Xmas and to obviously make you money, such a shame as you now lost out on a sale and now someone else's gain. When we were leaving there was still many cars coming in to go to the main shop to be disappointed and driving away. Will seriously be thinking next Xmas whether it's worth visiting.

Quite a nice little farm shop, it's on the Powderham castle estate. Which is closed out of season. The farm shop is quite well stocked there is a lot of local ale, cider, gin, cheese, and meats available. There is also a bakery/takeaway cafe bit, where you can get hot/cold drinks, Homemade pasties, pastries and such. And there is quite a bit of outdoor seating available. The prices are pretty much what you'd expect from a farm shop, and the cafe takeaway prices are reasonable, pretty much the price of coffee that I'd be used to paying in South London.
