Delicious oatcakes delivered when they said. Povey's have been smart for working out they should do online ordering and then in doing it well. There are plenty of us who were brought up on these but don't live near enough to Stoke, so when my freezer runs low I'll be back!

I’ve been buying poveys oatcakes for years and always enjoyed them. So the other day I decided to have a drive out to the actual shop in Biddulph as you can’t beat fresh from “the premises”. I purchased a dozen oatcakes for my family and to my horror there were dots of GREEN MOULD on most of them in my packet (even after being stored in a cool dry place). I’m very dissatisfied and very disappointed as you’d expect this not to happen considering coming straight from the shop. I purchased these on the Tuesday and by the Thursday noticed the GREEN MOULD.
Absolutely amazing service and a very much needed boost and treat during lockdown. Brought back fantastic memories for my husband growing up in Stoke. Will be ordering again and again! X
Had a delivery of oatcakes and there was green on them that looked like snot, But could of been green wet mould, I didint want to handle them long enough to find out, straight in the bin, never again, even worse i can't even go highlane oatcakes now as he as took over that.
My three online orders all arrived at their respective destinations on the day expected and each person who sampled the oatcakey goodness loved them. My freezer is plentiful stocked with more to enjoy over the coming weeks. Brilliant service particularly during a lockdown!
