Good prices. Shame about the self serve checkouts. Very frustrating that if you want to make a quick payment & use your own bag you need it verified by a member of staff & anytime I've been in there's always only ever been 1 member of staff on the main tills who then has to leave the till to verify bags (defeats the purpose surely) While in the Dumfries store I mentioned this to a member of staff who chose to keep his head down & completely blank me. He only answered a single, blunt 'No' when I then asked if they had a lot of issues with the self serve checkouts. Having since read other reviews it would seem that in fact they DO have a lot of issues with the self serve checkouts!Would've given more stars had the staff member been polite or in the least bit interested or helpful. He didn't seem to value customer service at all.

I love land! I can always find cheap craft items for my card making, food for the cats, medicines, shampoo, cereal, sweets....u name it the shop has it. Not everything is a 1, some larger items may be more, but there is such a fantastic array of things to buy, u won't be disappointed.
Love Poundland it is a fun place to go for a look while you pick up your basic needs like o nails\ Poundland brand for 1. Fantastic
